Podcasts with Creative Conversations

Staying inspired these days is as easy as plugging in and letting the conversation flow with a range of podcasts available to suit everyone's tastes, experience and needs. Knowledge right at your fingertips
Here’s a list of the Podcasts we can't get enough of. Voila! Pop on your headphone while you're creating or doing the daily house business and enjoy.
We dig sharing the love as well, so let us know if there are things creating a melody in your soul and we’ll share out into the Sunshine & Pineapples world.
It's all about the creative inspiration here. A weekly dose of fab stories to keep you motivated on your creative journey. It comes out weekly so you can make it a regular ritual and features episodes about unblocking limitations, personal branding, art practice and business growth just to name a few.
I like the down to earth, Aussie feel of Laura's podcast. There's artist interviews, studio stories and practical tips for those on a creative journey.
This podcast also digs a bit deeper for the professional artist with topics like how to navigate style changes seamlessly and the pros and cons of sharing your art process on-line. There's more to consider than I first imagined.
  1. The Living Artist
Professional artist Preston M. Smith of PMS Artwork is a funny cat and that's right up my alley. The living artist focuses on dispelling the myths around the starving, tortured artist and focuses on the positive, abundant and playful side of living this creative life. Ah...The Sunshine & Pineapples ethos!
He's a bit cool and I love a good natured rant and underneath the banter there are some really amazing tips about building your creative calling into a career.
Art Attack w/ Lizy Dastin and Justin BUA is what I like call 'accessible highbrow'. Munch the Punk was the episode that reeled me in with one of the best podcast titles ever. It's all about "The Scream" by Edvard Munch and I really dug 100th Episode Live! Hip Hop & Art.
This podcast is an art history buffs french kiss but with a little quirk thrown in for good measure. Just my cup of tea.
Hosted by Aussie, Rachelle Holowko, Design and Shine is a conversation with your best friend about the creative design process. It includes the secrets of being a successful creative entrepreneur from a successful creative entrepreneur and all things pattern.
This is a perfect podcast for surface designers where Rachelle also shares mindset tips and inspiration, interviews with other successful designers and artists and lots of great career advice.
I highly recommend you listen to this podcast for lots of juicy insider tips.
